The ship, originally built in 1970, underwent a renewal in 2010 with the addition of a new midship and foreship. In 2018, a change of ownership occurred, followed by NECO ordering a new aft ship in China in 2019 to replace the old one. These strategic steps have modernized the ship, equipping it with state-of-the-art technologies, making it ready for new challenges in maritime navigation.
